Happy Easter to all!
Though we did not make any special plans the whole week, we already had our fun last weekend and I think I still have a slight hangover from that Acuatico family-bonding trip! I'm hoping we can have another out-of-town adventure before the kids go back to school in June.
My children are not fully aware of the significance of Easter yet. Even if they know about Jesus dying on the cross, it is still more an 'eggs and bunny rabbits' day today -- as Easter Eggs and Easter Bunny symbolize new life and rebirth.

Speaking of bunnies, I just realized I have not posted my daughter's school exposure trip from over a month ago. My family had already been to this indoor zoo last year, but I still looked forward to this field trip with my pre-schooler and get reacquainted with these lovable animals once again. The zoo made some nice improvements
since we last visited and it still managed to amaze me. With an imposing ark as a facade and more than a hundred beautiful and exotic wild life,
adorable hopping bunny rabbits included, Ark Avilon is a great place to bring the whole family. Let your
child discover and learn about these different animals and experience it first-hand.On that note, here are some of the friendly creatures we "met" at Ark Avilon Zoo, a fun and educational summer destination located at the Fun Ranch, Frontera Verde, Pasig City.

The rodents above look so cute, but I'm still not a fan. I'd rather have these cute, spiny mammals below.
Friendly or fierce? These four felines kept on moving around so it was a challenge to take a decent photo, especially from behind the viewing glass.

These cute fur-balls went crazy every time a carrot was dangled in the pen! My girl does not seem a bit interested to feed them though.
Across the rabbit pen was this 'kid', patiently waiting for his turn to be fed. Aww...
This red-head birdie came out of nowhere as he blocked the stairway when we were about to go down.
Face to face with 'the king' before leaving the zoo. I was actually scared for her as I shot this one! She was so calm and brave. That's my girl!
